DVO (Dilithium Video Optimizer)
The Dilithium Video Optimizer (DVO) is a DCA application for network video traffic shaping and optimization.
“Data” traffic shaping and optimization is well known challenge for mobile, broadband or wire-line operators and service providers. Many solutions address network layer and below.
Dynamic video traffic shaping at the video layer allows for significant savings in network expansions, and enables operators to accommodate more users with more satisfying user experience. For example, gracefully reducing stream bitrate from 160 kbps down to 100 kbps will boost capacity of network up to 60% in peak traffic hours/events.
