Friday, May 30, 2008: OnMobile Global Limited, a telecom VAS and data solutions company, has launched a phone backup product with Bharti Airtel, Maxis and Indosat. The product allows subscribers to take a back up of all types of personal information including files, messages, videos, photos, music, contacts, calendar, events and tasks stored on their mobile. All the data is backed up ‘over-the-air’ to the operator network.
The end user needs to download the user-friendly handset client from either the service provider’s website or by an SMS request. The service is easy to use with an intuitive user interface (UI). The service is available on both GPRS and non-GPRS handsets on a monthly subscription basis.
