Prof. Jayanth Rama Varma graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Bangalore University. He did his post-graduation in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, where he was awarded a gold medal for his scholastic performance. |
| He also obtained the Fellow of the the Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and is also a qualified cost accountant from Institute Cost and Works Accountants. He has over 20 years of teaching, research and consulting experience in the field of finance. He has previously served as a full-time member of SEBI and as Chairman of various committees formed by SEBI and the Department of Company Affairs. He is a professor of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He has been appointed as an independent Director by the shareholders of our Company at the AGM held on August 17, 2007. |
